Gandhi Jayanti is an event celebrated in India to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It is celebrated annually on 2 October, and it is one of the three national holidays of India. The UN General Assembly announced on 15 June 2007 that it adopted a resolution which declared that 2 October will be celebrated as the International Day of Non-Violence.
The following competition is being organised by Kendriya Vidyalaya Bacheli on occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Gandhi Ji. Details of competition are as under :-

Category - IV : Essay writing Competition on Gandhi Ji for Class IX & X
Write essay and send photo/pdf of essay. (Last date : 02/10/2020, 0600 pm)
Category - V : Online Quiz Competition on Gandhi Ji for Class XI & XII
Online quiz timing - 02 Oct 2020 ( 1000 am to 0400 pm)
